Short Story, Video, and Comics Contest organized during
the KAUST Research Conference on Robotics and Autonomy 2023
#RobotoKAUST 2023
Organizers of the KAUST Research Conference on Robotics and Autonomy 2023 would like to invite you to take part in the third edition of the Robotics Contest.
This time we welcome submissions in three different categories: short stories, comics, and video animations. The overall theme will be "Robots & Emotions". So, unleash your creativity, and tell us what you can see in words, images, or animations.
We welcome the following submissions from the KAUST Community Members:
Short Story
The stories should have no more than 200 words.
Language: English, or English and Arabic.

Video Animations
Animated videos should tell a story about robots.
The length of the video should not exceed 2 min.

Comics
The drawings in the comics can be digital- or hand-drawings.

Notification and Prices
Prizes will be announced later!
Following last year’s format, the best works will be showcased during the RobotoKAUST Exhibit. The winners will be announced during the RobotoKAUST Gala Event on May 9, 2023, at 5 pm.
The winning stories will be turned into video animations. The organizers plan to publish a book with all the entries from the contest.

Video animations
TKS G5 Student, Khadija Adamu, prepared a video animation "The Detective Robot Fish". This work was awarded the first prize in the contest.
